The date for this year's Scout Bala Canoe and Kayak Training Weekend is Friday 13-15 May 2011Please note that this is NOT the first weekend after the May Day Bank Holiday when we would normally have the event. This is due to the school Easter holidays on Wirral being attached to May Day next year! ANY ONE GOT ANY PHOTOS OF BALA 2005 or 2008 or 2010 - PLEASE SEND THEM IN!In the meantime if you want to learn how to paddle contact the organisations on our links page. |

Welcome, the primary aim of this weekend is to train youngsters and adults alike from Scouting in the kayak, open boat and bell boat in accordance with the standards set by the British Canoe Union and Scout Water recommendations. The weekend is run by Wallasey District Scouts based in the County of Merseyside. |
